- Remove old the wallpaper or paint if the wall has been painted.
- Putty all the irregularities, cracks and chips, and then treat the wall with acrylic primer of deep penetration. Do not use latex paint as a primer; it will give rise to bubbles, separation of seams and peeling of the wallpaper! Treat the wall with antiseptic if necessary.
- Having made sure that the surface being pasted is smooth, absolutely dry, and has no dust and grease, you can start appling the paste on the photo wallpaper.
